Larimer Square Goes Orange for Broncos Pep Rally, Oct. 15

Earlier this week, Mayor John Hickenlooper officially proclaimed the Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets game this Sunday as “Orange Sunday.” To gear up for the game, the Broncos have teamed up with Larimer Square for an Orange Sunday Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.

The pep rally will include food and drink specials as well as ticket and merchandise giveaways. Broncos Cheerleaders and alumni, including Ed McCaffrey, Billy Thompson and Randy Gradishar, will be present along with mascots Miles and Thunder to sign autographs and take photos. The Super Bowl trophies, a live band and a live broadcast from 850 KOA’s afternoon show, “The Ride Home,” also will be part of Friday’s activities.

Additionally, Larimer Square merchants are doing their own Orange celebrations on Friday:

  • Lime is opening its doors early on Friday and is featuring its Orange Mango margarita for $3 on the rocks or $4 frozen.
  • Cru~ A Wine Bar is offering its special “Mile High Mimosa” – orange blueberry mimosa – for $5 a glass or go bottomless for $12.
  • Dog Savvy is offering 10 percent off all its Broncos collars, jerseys and jackets for your four-legged friends!
  • Goorin Bros. hat shop will feature special pumpkin refreshments to its visitors.
  • Eve women’s boutique is offering a 20 percent discount on all items to those who shop in their orange and blue Bronco colors on Friday.
